Billboard Agent and Excel

Use an existing XLSX or XLS board list to start without moving the operation into a new inventory system.

What Billboard Agent reads

Mapped inventory fields such as stable board reference, location, format, rates and the availability fields present in the selected worksheet.

What it writes back

A CSV write-back batch containing booking changes. Billboard Agent does not edit the source workbook in place.

What remains the source of truth

The operator decides which inventory record is authoritative. Imported records are used for checks, while write-back rows support reconciliation with that record.

What setup requires

Upload a representative workbook, select the correct worksheet and map its columns. The mapping is saved for later imports.

How incomplete data is handled

Rows without a stable board reference are rejected. Unmatched or conflicting values stay visible for review rather than silently creating a second face.

How an operator can test it

Import a copy of the current workbook, review mapped and unmatched rows, then compare a generated write-back batch before using live booking data.
